Государственное объединение «Столичная торговля и услуги» - The Association performs the following functions:

implementation of tasks and instructions defined by the Minsk City Executive Committee in the field of trade, public catering, industrial processing and sale of food products, agro-industrial complex, household and hotel services (production);
coordination of the work of the organizations that are part of the Association to increase sales, turnover and revenue in the field of trade, public catering, production, agro-industrial complex, household and hotel services (production), industrial processing and sale of food products, expanding the types and forms of service, increasing the quality of these services (types of work), the improvement and development of economic ties;
provision of methodological assistance, consulting and other services to its member organizations and the implementation of methodical guidance;
analysis of the state of the consumer market of the Members of the Association and making proposals for its development;
participation in the development of measures to save fuel and energy resources, preparation for work in the autumn-winter period and analysis of the results of their implementation by the organizations that are part of the Association;
centralization of funds for financing industry-wide events approved by the Council of the Association, primarily related to the development of the material and technical base, training and retraining of personnel of the Participants of the Association, participants in the development and holding of cultural events, professional skill contests, etc .;
bringing the main target indicators of the forecast of socio-economic development to the members of the Association;
exercising control over the implementation by the Members of the Association of the indicators brought in the prescribed manner, as well as the conditions stipulated by decisions on the provision of state support to the Members of the Association;
providing methodological assistance in the development and approval of the development forecast, business plans of the Members of the Association and ensuring control over their implementation;
organization and holding together with interested enterprises city and republican fairs (exhibitions);
ensuring the protection of the rights, social and economic interests of organizations that are part of the Association, representing their interests in government bodies and other business entities, international and other organizations;
consideration of proposals, applications, appeals of citizens on issues related to the competence of the Association, the implementation of the reception of citizens;
participation in the organization and conduct of activities for the observation, analysis and assessment of factors affecting the performance of the organization that is part of it;
taking measures to organize the execution of decisions of the Minsk City Executive Committee, the Minsk City Council of Deputies by organizations that are part of the Association;
interaction with associations, unions and other business entities of the production sector, trade, public catering, consumer services for the population and the hotel industry;
development and submission to the Minsk City Executive Committee of draft decisions on issues related to the activities of the Association and the Members of the Association;
implementation of ownership supervision through representatives of the state in business companies, shares (stakes in statutory funds) of which have been transferred to the management of the Association;
coordination of the activities of state representatives in fulfilling their responsibilities for participation in decision-making by the management bodies of business entities, shares (stakes in statutory funds) of which are transferred to the management of the Association, on the grounds of legislation and constituent documents to protect the economic interests of the state and ensure the efficiency of their work;
disposal and operation in compliance with the legislation of real estate transferred by the Founder to the economic management of the Association;
other functions in conformity with the legislation, decisions of the Minsk City Executive Committee and the Minsk City Council of Deputies, aimed at increasing the efficiency of work in the field of trade, public catering, production, agro-industrial complex, household (production) and industrial processing of products.
